What Is Avéli?

Avéli is a noninvasive treatment targeting the septa or fibrous bands that create the appearance of cellulite. These fibrous bands pull down and create tension on the skin’s surface, resulting in cellulite’s telltale “cottage cheese” appearance. Avéli releases the fibrous bands for a smoother and improved appearance.

What To Expect During Your Avéli Treatment?

Before your Avéli procedure, your provider will give you a local anesthetic to keep you comfortable. Once the treatment begins, the device targets the septa bands via small incisions, severing the cellulite-causing connective tissue. An advantage of Avéli is that it allows your provider to precisely locate and release the septa bands.

Once the treatment is complete, your provider will cover the treated areas, and you can usually resume your regular activities within 1 to 2 days.

What Can I Expect During Recovery?

Although you will need only minimal downtime with Avéli, it’s important to postpone strenuous activities for the first few days. You may experience some mild bruising, swelling, and discomfort, but these symptoms will subside quickly. Your provider may advise you to wear compressive clothing such as Spanx or yoga pants for a few weeks to keep swelling to a minimum and help with healing.

After your skin has healed from the treatment, apply sunscreen and wear protective clothing when spending time outdoors. It may take up to a month to see the full benefits of your Avéli treatment.

How Long Does Avéli Cellulite Treatment Last?

Your Avéli results can last up to 1 year or longer. Results from clinical trials found that 80% of the participants showed significant improvement after 90 days with Avéli. It’s essential to follow your provider’s aftercare recommendations for optimal and long-lasting results.
